Customer Review: Great Surge Protector At A Great Price
I was looking for good multiple outlet device for a recharging center I built for all our rechargeable devices, e.g. cell phones, PDAs, Kindle, etc. This Belkin Pivot-Plug protector is ideal because it allows for tilting the individual outlets to accommodate those large voltage regulators that many rechargeable devices require. My recharging center was easy to make and much less expensive than the ready-made ones that I've seen. I just used a small antique cabinet that we use as a TV stand for our small kitchen TV. Inside I added thin shelves, mounted the Belkin unit at the back, drilled a hole in the back to allow the Belkin unit to be plugged in, then plugged in all our recharging units and attached the ends of each cord to a shelf. I then labeled the place on each shelf for the appropriate device and, voila! Now when something needs recharging I just open the cabinet door, plug the device in at its own place, and close the door. All the recharging takes place behind the cabinet door, out of sight. And no more fumbling in a drawer for the right recharger, plugging it in, then wrapping it up and returning it to the drawer after the device is recharged. It's a big improvement for not much money, and the Belkin Pivot-Plug Surge Protector made it possible.

Customer Review: Nicely made, but need another lightning strike to see if it works.
After my home and office was hit by lightning, frying my phones, modems, I/O ports on printers and computers, hubs, DVD players and other miscellaneous electronics, I decided to buy a bunch of surge protectors. Better late than never, I guess. Since I cannot control Mother Nature and order up a lightning strike on demand, I'll have to wait to see how well my investment in these things pays off. I truly hope it does sometime in the next fifty or so years.

The filter came as a large sheet. For my Honeywell Enciracaire the large sheet needs to be cut into 8 stripes. Although there are perforations on the sheet, but the lines are not continuous, therefore difficult to cut straight.

"the world ends when you're dead. until then you got more punishment in store. stand it like a man, and give some back." Al Swearengen This series is so good and so well-written. The dialogue between the players, while often course and not for the faint of heart, is brilliantly put together and makes the viewer think. There are so many good quotes throughout this series that I had to start recording them in a journal. The characters are wonderfully acted, most notably the town's ringleader, Al Swearengen, played by Ian McShane. As horrible as this man is, I dare you to try to not love this guy. Many an episode ends with one of his venting diatribes, that bring together the complexity of his character, all at once villainous yet heroic, menacing yet humanistic. Everyone else brings the story together wonderfully, and shows us a glimpse into the rough lives our pioneering ancestors led in paving the way for us to live so comfortably. I don't know if there any more plans for continuing this series, but I will be in hopeful anticipation of Season 4.

Well, I guess you wouldn't win any fashion shows with these (and my 14 year old son refuses to wear them when he mows) but after wearing them for a week I wonder why I didn't get these years ago. To think of all the time I've spent using chain saws, trimmers, blowers, and mowers and not using any ear protection (I'm 60), well, that was just plain dumb. Get a pair of these. Yeah, your ears might sweat a little bit when you use these on hot days but whats a little sweat when you can preserve your hearing.
